The ask —
Create a world-leading music strategy that attracted new fans and delivered a spectacular celebration.

Overview

We designed and developed a strategic music program, considering every element of fan engagement. This included curating tournament-specific playlists with a cultural music program for international fans, and designing and building professional music playback kits specifically for the event.

We also trained music producers to deliver our music programs nationally throughout the tournament. Including world music in our strategy motivated fans to celebrate and share their cultures, and our selection of female empowerment songs really resonated with the audience.

THE LARGEST CROWD FOR A WOMEN’S SPORTING EVENT IN AUSTRALIA AND THE HIGHEST CROWD FIGURE FOR A WOMEN’S CRICKET MATCH GLOBALLY.

Insight

Gathering feedback to continually improve our program worked well, with a post-event survey showing that the music was a crowd favourite which would make fans come back for more.

The result? The ICC was thrilled with the level of detail, high production standards and entertainment value which they said definitely exceeded expectations. Best of all, the ICC confirmed they’ll be asking for a music strategy at every event in the future.

PERFORMING TO OVER 1.3 MILLION PEOPLE IN STADIUMS ACROSS AUSTRALIA AND BEAMED WORLDWIDE TO A BROADCAST AUDIENCE OF 1.1 BILLION.

 I attended the T20 WC Final and from a fan experience it was epic!
